managed to speak to him. He doesn't dispute the amount or the work, says he can't afford to pay as he's taking early retirement.
Then told me he would pay a third but that's all cos he didn't feel like paying the rest. I said that wouldn't cover my costs and that I needed to be paid in full but... and then he put the phone down before I could offer him a 5% discount.
