Your response could have been as simple as:

"In my view, whether something can be judged as good business or not can only be judged based on whether he is a good player, but putting to one side the meaning attached to business, it's good that the club is being proactive, which is your point Simon."

Instead, you took the being a difficult arse approach instead. I can't be bothered, I used to think you were a negative but valid influence on the board; I've changed my mind. You're going on ignore, I'm not wasting any more energy on pointless arguments on semantics just because you've got too much time on your hands.
