I haven't been frothing

I haven't passed comment on whether I think he's a good or bad player. I will wait and see. It sounds like he's the sort that will have a few good games and a few ineffective ones so is probably likely to split fan opinion. I have however expressed frustration at the fact we are signing more players for next season when had we signed a striker or two or this Hernandez chap 10 days ago we may have had a better chance of getting something from Shef U and only be 5 points off the playoffs. I am finding the clubs approach to the last 2 seasons extremely frustrating and i'm afraid this line that they are simply "building for the future" doesn't wash with me as an excuse for not challenging now although I do agree that forward planning is necessary and can see this could be part of it (although my fear is that we won;t see much more money spent even if Madders goes).

I understand fully the phase "good business" - it has a very common and well understood meaning which is not quite the meaning you have placed on it in your original post which you have now acknowledged. Its all semantics though but we've cleared up what we both mean now.

I merely suggested in response to your post stating that you think this is "good business" that the reaction of the Aberdeen fans suggests that it might not be. We will have to wait and see. I have no wish to argue with you, we've had plenty of good debates in the past and I'm sure will do so again in the future. All the other replies above are people, as usual, reading my posts as they want to read them (often deliberately) and not actually reading what i've written.
