They all sound good until you look into them and discover that you have to do half of it
out of the slow cooker to prep before you bung it in, and then often a load more half way in. I found it's less hassle, and much faster, just to do the same thing in a pan.
Of course you can just get loads of s**te and throw it in and leave it but that's just going to end up as mush.
