Wrath Advice please. I've bought some Boots

My size were originally out of stock so I clicked the ‘email me when they’re available’ – I didn’t really hold out much hope as it was an ‘end of line’ product.

Anyway I received an email saying they were back in stock and promptly bought them. When they arrived though,they’ve clearly been worn – the soles are all scratched on the bottom, very slight wear on the heel and even some dried mud on them.
The uppers seem fine though tbf.

Obviously they’re a pair that someone has bought but returned.

I want to keep the Boots as can’t find them anywhere else in my size but is it unreasonable for me to ask for a discount on them as they’re not mint & perfectly new and if so, how much do you think would be appropriate? 15/20%?
