Has it occurred to you that our defence has also improved with a defensive midfielder or two playing in front of it?

Russell Martin might no longer be first choice, fine, but the negative slagging off/ridicule of one of longest serving players, who has been with us throughout some of our best times recently leaves a bitter taste to me.
