I had a summer (1988?) when I listened to Buddy Holly almost incessantly.
Well, obviously other things as well, but those were the days of being a student and cassettes were the easiest thing to lug around and that was one I had with me. Kids today, etc etc.
IIRC, it was the Four Tops the year before. Good songs for a break-up.
