Dave Phillips is my all time favourite Norwich player
Watching back some of the old season review video's he comes across as extremely intelligent and a bit arrogant, so it was nice to hear he was decent with you when you met him.
There is a fantastic interview clip on the (I think) 92-93 season review DVD where he talks about taking a penalty vs Liverpool and says something like "Yeah, just put the ball down, I could see the keeper was trying to decide which way to go up to the last second. Fortunately, he chose wrong"
Pure Charles Bronson in Once Upon A Time In The West s**t right there.
Bear in mind he's wearing the most garish Sweater Shop/Edinburgh Woolen Mill sweater of all time whilst delivering this.
Plus he scored all kinds of spectacular goals and did cartwheels to celebrate.
