Lucknam Park (Colerne - you'd need a car but it would impress. Don't look elsewhere if money no object)
Macdonald Bath Spa or Gainsborough Spa (in Bath, Gainsborough is new and dead centre)
Woolley Grange Spa (Bradford on Avon, probably need a car but just about taxi distance. Walkable for Bradford on avon. Less spenny than the rest but has spa, nice surroundings etc)
