Spent almost five very happy years there as a postgrad of various kinds

When I went back a few years ago - funnily enough to go to Mr B's (I worked in the book trade for a bit), which is just the best indie bookshop in the world, let alone the UK - I was very disappointed. All the characterful "Bath" places like the Rummer, Mulligans, that dodgy little bistro near Pulteney Bridge and so on were gone and replaced by Flann O'Briens/Finnegans/Generic Chain Bollocks. It felt like a lot of what made Bath, Bath wasn't there any more, and I was sad.

Sometimes I tell stories of when I worked the bar at a club frequented by musos and so on - that was Moles.
