The result of negotiations will be based on the ACTUAL relative strength of position of the two sides, not what's in the press.
Criticism of May has as little negative affect on the outcome of negotiations of all her "Brexit means Brexit" and "Strength and Stability" bollocks has positive effect.
This is a proper negotiation. Not a vote, where just winning the soundbite/press war battle is often enough to win.
If you have the cards you'll win the negotiation. If you don't you won't. Time will tell.
