Hopefully a good appointment but

It's not different or particularly innovative (many other clubs already do it) and he's not the manager/coach so it's unlikely to change anything until at least the summer. Board should not be let off the hook for their appalling performance this season by virtue of this face saving restructure which they could/should have done anyway if it was felt necessary.
