Why didn't we do similar with our Youth Cup winning team?

Why haven't they developed to a successful level?

Of course the OP was simplistic however we had all the ingredients to do similar however we were constrained by our owners.

The sheer volume of players we have signed who have not been success speaks volumes about our scouting.

Redmond is now developing into a proper player because of the coaching he is now receiving.

We really could have emulated Southampton .. however that won't happen now.
