No worse than anyone else. In fact against Leeds (the game before he was dropped)

he was one of our best players and played pretty well as I recall.

Until Derby, the last game he started was 05 November. That's nearly 2 months! That's one hell of a "rest." The fact is Neil dropped him because he decided he needed more physical players in the team and was persisting with his idiotic tactic of playing Howson in the number 10 role which does not suit Howson at all and keeps both Wes and Pritchard out of the team. Had Brady not got sent off I don't believe that he would not have been in the team for Derby so frankly I don't believe what Neil says about that. He is somehow trying to claim credit for something I actually think has been a major error on his part.
