I would buy the give him time line IF

He was showing any sign whatsoever of learning from his mistakes.

He git Hamilton up as a player manager, he was one of them, knew them inside out, then we're playing with him. Totally different kettle of fish to coming in to a new team.

He got promoted from a decent position with a squad that arguably just needed motivation. As a new broom he gave us that and did very well.

But last season was his real test and, well...

This season was his chance to show he was learning and putting things right and, well...

I think he has had plenty of time now TBH.

(I am on record from when he joined as having said we needed to be building for the long term with him, so I'm disappointed that it hasn't worked out. He's just not showing any signs of improvement or of being the manager we thought he was going to be.)
