Yep, completely unnecessary procrastination

the organisation of the team has been a shambles for the best part of 10 months. That has been covered up at times by moments of individual quality - just like it was under Adams.

Neil's had so much time to show he can change it and set the team up to consistently play to its potential (particularly defensively) - and he just can't do it. If he hasn't been able to in 10 months, he's not going to be able to in 3 more games - regardless of what the results are.

It seems pretty clear that the dressing room is not fully behind him as well. Either because he can't get his message across, or the players are ignoring him.
