A miscarriage of justice is, quite simply, the conviction of someone who (later evidence suggests) didn't actually do it. If you don't believe me, consult Google.

Evans is beyond contempt for how he behaved that night. Disgusts me. But how anyone could say that he has not been the victim of a miscarriage of justice is wholly beyond me.
