The way I see it is..

The transfers we have brought in have significanly impoved the squad but not necessarily the starting eleven. The players we have signed are all young, hungry and *should have a sell on value. With 46 games and cup games etc we will need every player in our squad.

I also think our hands were tied a bit because even now we are in the championship we still can't attract the top players due to wages and location. I also think if we had managed to move on some high earning dead wood we would and could have splashed the cash and bought probably a couple of starters.

IMO players like Bassong, Lafferty, Turner possibly mulumbu and now Naismith are holding our club back significantly
