I really don't understand why people think this is a possibility

We're not even a first class county, we have no ground.

It will be test grounds:

Nottingham
Birmingham
Leeds
Manchester
London (Lords)
Southampton
Cardiff

Every chance, given population and potential for rivalry, that the 8th will be The Oval. If not, there might be a 'Newcastle' team based at Chester Le Street... albeit 20 miles away.

But a 'Norwich' team is about as logical as Truro trying to be part of a 2026 World Cup bid.
