If the most gifted 14-yr-old footballers choose not to attend NCFC Academy then the likelihood of us 'producing' Prem players is slim.

And our recruitment of Maddison, Godfrey etc shows that, at least, we are doing our best to fill any gaps (a strategy that was pursued by Carson / Bennett but then a victim of the post-Chase cuts and the 90-minute rule)
