Some f**king common sense wouldn't go amiss.

We laugh at Doomcaster for the failed signings but are every bit as bad now.

This year we needed at least two strikers, two centre mids and two forwards before August!!

Not all of them needed to be guaranteed starters but for a suspension to Gary o'neill to be a calamity is not acceptable.

There are plenty of good championship players who would have come and improved the side, in depth if nothing else.

Instead we put in our bids for messi and then weep when his agent decides he won't sign.

Ambition is great and Klose looks like a great signing but too little too late. There are several no nonsense defenders around in the champs who would have vastly outperformed Russell Martin. Get those players in *first* then make bids for van dijk or others who many not come.

And if you really really need a player like I think we needed a fast striker then f**king pay for one.
