More scope for a big club to waste their additional financial advantage with a single ?80m signing that flops. Conversely a middling team who picks up 2-3 rough diamonds could absolutely transform their fortunes.

We'll also see loads, and loads, of ?10-15m flops (who would probably have been ?5m flops previously).

I bet a Pinto next season would be ?5m+ and a Naismith would be ?15m+.
