Bournemouth gave him the opportunity to do that. Also worth remembering that Bournemouth have got bulk cash but that's besides the point really. They didn't always have that.

Personally I've seen enough from Alex Neil to think that if he's given some time and patience, then he could help do for us like Eddie Howe has for them. I think he could do very well in the long run as opposed to the short termist 'sack someone after a year and move on to the next' strategy. If we drop down to the Champs again then so be it. Let's give him a chance to build something.
