but it isn't. I'm clearly not alone on here in disagreeing with you on this - the FA are within their rights to give the place to either Everton or Liverpool, as the UEFA rules explicitly say.

You think performance in the previous champions league should take precedence, I think performance in the league should. Reasonable people can disagree on this.
