Good luck with the book anyway, I want to write one about Chilean football one day but that's a long way off, think immersion in culture and football culture is vital before you can get a real flavour for such a book. Yours will hopefully more interesting than Wilson's on Argentina though, which I'm far from convinced will be any good considering I don't really rate his writing on South American football and he has never lived in Argentina. I am pessimistic about Chile's chances in the Copa America but hope they can prove me wrong, just the fact they have two really obvious weaknesses that will surely be far too easily exposed as they were in the World Cup. Main one is considering goals on set pieces...cost them against Netherlands and Brazil and nearly Australia too. This problem has been exposed time and time again since so I really can't see them winning it. Hopes rest with Sanchez and Vidal not being burned out after a tough long season too.
