the price of tickets generally is obscene

It's not often I get all left-wingy, but given the billions the Premier League suck in you'd think that a small portion of that could filter down into subsidising ticket prices across the Leagues.

Given that good crowds generally make for better atmospheres and better television, you'd think the PL and Football League would be desparate to prevent fans from being priced out of watching games in person.
