Sometimes it is the simple things... a house I had had around

100 metres of verge grass and trees and many locals used to walk their dogs around it so everytime I was mowing I'd have to clean up dog poop.
Wrote to the local council and asked for some No Fouling signs, which they supply free - pinned them up on a few of the trees and amazingly people stopped letting their dogs s**t there.
