I don't think many people will agree with you that this isn't a risk

You say it as if he was an obvious candidate when I doubt 99% of people on here knew who he was until yesterday.

I don't disagree that the appointment of Adams and if we'd gone down that route, Sherwood, are not also risks. There is no such thing as a risk free managerial appointment.

However, my point was that this is the type of risk we should be taking. Who would we have been appointing if Doncaster were still at the helm? It definitely wouldn't be Alex Neil.
