Oh and Gunny once sent me a signed copy of his book despite me not being able to

send a cheque to his charity (was difficult t transfer cash in those days). He just said sort it out when you're back in the country.

I was in the Gunn Lounge and he was there. Walked up and gave him the Wonga, and he even remembered me. Seemed like a thoroughly nice chap.
