I think Hoots was absolutely the right appointment.

and he 100% deserved to get sacked when he did.

I don't remember too many people saying our football was soul destroying when we beat Man utd and Arsenal.
They accepted we had a far worse team than the top clubs and needed to play a certain way to keep it tight and nick a result.

His failure was that the players he brought in to make the side more attacking just didn't work, so he reverted to what he knew to try and grind out results...... and yes it was f**king dire
