Sky however are s**t as customer support. I was once getting a practical download speed on broadband of about 40kpbs not the 6-7Mbps I was getting with BT. I'd have accepted 2Mbps as speed wasn't generally an issue.

The customer support guy tried to tell me as my router was reporting a theoretical speed of 6-7Mbps they were doing their part. I gave him the analogy that if he bought a 250mph car that would only go 10mph, would he think there was a problem. Turned out to be a national issue for all of their Openreach customers.
