Broadband advice please.

Wrathers,

I have a landline broadband. There is no fibre in my area yet.

I have Orange broadband who are starting to piss me off.

Are PlusNet any good ?
Someone at work is saying get Zen or PlusNet.

Anyone know if these are any good.
I am being told to avoid Orange, EE and Talk Talk and BT as well !
