Farage is clever. He's made people think that thinking racist thoughts about the minority of immigrants to this country isn't racist, but just sticking up for your country and being patriotic. So no need to feel ashamed like you used too about feeling this way.

But it's not true. He's just tapping into the most primitive stranger fear that resides in all of us for evolutionary purposes.

It's not okay to think that way. And if you do, you should feel ashamed. When people no longer feel ashamed, it's a very slippery slope.

Don't be a racist. Don't hate people because they're different. Don't let anecdotes persuade you that's how the world really is, because it isn't.
