the sad fact of the matter is that.....

all football clubs are run by bean counters who w**k over spreadsheets. They dont really give a f**k what goes on on the pitch, as long as the business is in growth financially and meets its financial targets to please shareholders. Its no different these days to an industrial commercial company.

As long as McNally makes money for the shareholders and shows growth, he's in a job.

Chances are we'll be a yo-yo club for years, due to the size of our support and financial constraints. Any plea for mega rich foreign owners is misguided too - no guarantee for success - see cardiff, leeds etc etc

accept what we are, a small provincial yoyo club who will have pain from relegation from the prem a few times but glory from the occassional promotion.

The cups dont even really enter the equation.......
