Eleven months between my two

Seemed to make perfect sense - sleeplessness is prolonged for a little while but think it saves hassle in the long run, eg potty training at the same time. They're four and five now and very close which is nice to see. Something I learned was that siblings born within 12 months of one another are known as Irish twins.

My wife is ten years older than me, and she already had three girls, but we wanted one of our own before she turned 40 - little boy arrived end of July 2008, followed by his unplanned but equally as loved little sister on 1st July 2009. Us boys are heavily outnumbered at home!
