A credit recovery company has been instructed to get money out of me...

...as I terminated a DD a month early due to a lack of action or accountability on the part of the company I was paying...

Do I have any rights to refuse to cough up or do I have to pay as they'll bugger my credit rating and possibly, so I am led to believe, put a black credit mark against our house?..

If I can make a case who do I approach?..

It all seems rather unfair...
