I don't think anyone suggested we played excellently at Palace, a lot to do with the conditions. Palace (9) picked up the 2nd highest amount of points after Arsenal (11) in December, so an away point is not a bad return for me.

We have spent a lot, but so has everyone else, largely due to the increased SKY monies.

Man U, brought on Januzaj, so he did feature. When they can bring on a player of Welbecks quality for Giggs that speaks volumes of the gap between us and them. Yes they were a poor Man U team, but still I couldn't see any of their starting 11 not getting in our side. It was a bit of a fortunate goal that they scored.

The Fulham game irks me more than the 2 you have chosen to dissect...
