what difference does the last four games make to a Chrisrtmas decision??

you play everybody (roughly) once before Christmas and once after.
All the last four fixtures mean is that it would be pointless to change managers with 5-6 games to go. Has no influence on a decision to change at Christmas, since we play the every team once after Christmas in any case (what does it matter if we play the top teams in April/May or February/March?)
