this is the issue, though not sure its relevant to what happened on saturday

on Saturday we went in with an attacking lineup that left it fairly open and in the resulting open contest got played off the park by a very good team. In retrospect we should have tried to make the game much scrappier and clogged the midfield, not played with two strikers.
Only because of Spurs' quality though - don't want to see us do it every away game, as was last year's tendency (Stoke will be more of a representative test of any progress as we shouldn't need to be scared to get into a footballing contest with them!)
