Well, actually...

Swansea did it off Liverpool for much of the first half and got absolutely roasted by Moses, Coutinho and even Henderson.

They were greatly improved in the second half only when they were behind and started taking the game to Liverpool.

I would hope that, if we were in a similar position, we would do the same.
