Interesting that both Tory and Lib Dem MP's were free to vote as they wished last night...

whereas Labour MP's were 'whipped' into voting for the party line.

House of Commons votes on military intervention have historically been free votes for all parties as going to war or using military force has always been seen as a matter of conscience

All of which surely shows that Milliband's motives were just political points scoring and nothing to do with Syria.
