I agree - Redmond is clearly going to be a superb player

But I think we might be better off using him off the bench at the moment.

Part of our problem on Saturday in my opinion, was that we tried to get the ball forward to quickly and kept losing it trying to do something too clever about 30 yards out. We were far too predictable, and trying to run the ball through the middle of them was never going to work. I can't remember more than one or two crosses into their box in the second half.

We're not a bad side, but our tactics were way off on Saturday - wrong midfield in the first half with square pegs in round holes, and then not patient enough in the second half with insufficient quality on the ball.

One of our best displays against 10 men I can remember was away at QPR season before last. We got hold of the ball and worked them - stretching them from side to side until a gap appeared.
