Short of playing more games,i doubt it. i'd imagine pre season is quite complex now,in tha

t you've got a 25 man squad,most of whom have a genuine chance of playing a role in the first team at some time and you've got to get them all match fit,without pushing them too hard,too fast and causing injury.
Going back to 90s it was relatively easy for us to pick our best 11, and there were probably only 15/16 who even had a chance of being involved,it's alot different now though.
