but, as a quickie is better than nothing at all:

1. Having an opt-in risks creating a database of porn-watchers, how secure is that? is that what you really want? even for those that might just want to view a Page 3 type site? (or is that not porn? will those that don't opt in also be blocked from reading obsenity lawyer's blog? will they be put on the porno-watcher's database just for wanting to be able to read around a subject?)

2. Just because Google are already censoring searches in the way described in the Telegraph blog it does not make typing those searches in illegal - that's a whole additional step you seemed to be arguing for

3. i made no comment about the quality (or otherwise) of the Heil's research

and lastly. Yes I do.

Attempting to criminalize someone for typing certain words into a search engine is the thin end of a very thick wedge.
