Stick an on-form McKenzie or Jarvis in for McVeigh and it's not really any worse than the team that won the League, midfield aside. So I don't see why the pessimism about the quality in the team - admittedly the squad worries me.

In 2003-4 we had Mulryne if Francis wasn't perfoming, andMcKenzie and Svensson to fill in up front. And of course, some better loanees than Marney and Lisbie. But I stand by my point that we're only 3 or 4 players short of having a really decent first team.
