You have a valid point but...
I'd rather see a kid blooded now if it means we have a player in his natural position. Isn't Eagle a winger by trade? Surely it gives all the kids a carrot to go for if they see that when there's an opening the kids get as much of a chance as playing an established player out of position? We've not had a right winger in the first team in how long now?
Similarly, is it worse for Ryan Jarvis or Ian Henderson to play in a s**te team or just get overlooked for Huckerby playing out of position? It's not quite as straightforward is it looks, IMO.
