why should people pay less to watch the same product if the supply is limited?

obviously because they don't want to pay more, but why should the club take less money? understand it if there was a shortage of custom but when the venue is max'd out then from a commercial viewpoint it would be madness to give revenue away. harsh i know, i'd love to be able to stand at half price but aint gonnerappen.
