I guess I've put up with too many simple disappointments in making an effort with her, so I give up trying to translate what she wants, and move on

I'm glad I haven't had a drink tonight. I'm already considering being completely dry tomorrow in order to keep perspective, so I can enjoy the people who are constant in my life
