I guess so

I removed her because she a barrier (an excuse) with me one time

I'd take the hint, then I'd get a message a couple of days later asking me how I am, to feel free to arrange a meet up (the barrier being that she has a child and no time on her hands)

So I'd suggest we do something that's easier for her, she'd retreat again, but would then mail me again some time later

Eventually she had all the bases covered to just about never see me on any given night, day etc because of work, money or her kid

So I'd accept that, but then facebook being what it is, you'd see various pictures or messages about being out with friends, visiting friends elsewhere. Just general social updates to contrary of someone who isn't everything I'd been told

This is the kicker for me, and I hate the fact that if I even brought this up, it would be "oh I didn't see you, it was dark". 3 months ago I saw her at a traffic light, and shouted over. She stopped and looked round. I was all of 5 metres away from her, and she cycled off

I took that as the biggest hint to date, didn't care what response I got. (I'd see the odd like or comment about what I'd posted in the weeks after). I waited a healthy distance to avoid the knee jerk reaction, and just deleted her

It was a really refreshing thing to do, I was no longer reminded of the above, or would see what social events she would cross over with my circle of friends

I guess I just don't any awkwardness amongst my own mates tomorrow, and I don't want to be the head of a scene when the day isn't about me

I'm dying to say to her "look if you want to be my friend, call me, but don't persist in what you have been doing, I'm not that desperate"
