I highly doubt it. Even if lambert had been allowed to speak to them they would still have had to agree compo with us to allow him to leave and waive his notice.
Villa are trying it on here and lambert is being an a**whole. Says he loves the club yet doing all hd can to deny us fair compensation. His reps had already spoken to villa anyway!
